A: No deposit is required, payment is preferred as either COD or bank transfer prior to hire. An invoice can also be provided upon request.
Q: Can I add my own mix to the machines if we run out?
A: No, please do not attempt to add any of the following: Cordial, Milk, Juice, Soft Drink etc type liquids to our machines. Our slush syrups are manufactured specifically for the machines, anything you add may cause the liquid to freeze too solid, and cause damage to the machines.
Q: If I damage any of your hire equipment, what is my responsibility?
A: When we deliver our equipment to you, we will show you how to operate them. If the machine is damaged during your hire period, we will arrange an agreement regarding repair or replacement. Please be aware – the costs of this will be 100% entirely up to you to cover.
Q: What else do I need for the hire?
For our slushy machines, you will need to purchase cups & straws. We do have them available for extra purchase, so feel free to ask. You will also need a strong and sturdy surface to put them on. ie a bench or hard top table. Trestle tables are not to be used, the machines can weigh close to 100kg when they are full, and can cause collapse, which can result in machine damage. You can choose to purchase one of our hire tables for an additional $20.00.
For our other equipment, the extras will be more specific. We will do our best to let you know what is included in their individual package options on the hire equipment page.
Q: For the cocktail mixes, what is the best alcohol and ratio to use?
A: Please see the Flavours page – all of the information regarding specific alcohol per cocktail and quantity/ratio is listed under each flavour.
*Please note – adding alcohol should not be done until the mix has slushed up. Alcohol does not freeze, and this could severely impact the freezing time of your machine.
Q: What happens if there is a problem with my machine during the hire?
A: That’s easy, we have a technician standing by for any problems you might encounter, just give us a call. If it’s not something we can fix on the spot, we will swap/replace your machine for free and provide you with another 2L bottle of flavour at no extra cost, provided the fault is with the machine and not at the fault of the person or party who is hiring the machine.
Q: Do you have any package deals?
A: Got something in mind? Send us an email letting us know the equipment you would like, or if you are looking at an extended hire period, and we will work out a great deal for you!
Q: Can we purchase extra flavour syrup?
A: You sure can! If you do not think that the flavours you are provided free with your initial hire are going to be enough, we can supply you with extras at $45.00 per 2L. If you don’t end up using them, don’t worry! Simply return them to us 100% full and we will refund you for it.
